  Not many anglers on the Gander on opening weekend. However I did here of 2 fish hooked but lost.

  Water levels are perfect for fishing. Salmon Brook fishway has had fish go through ( 7-10) Not sure of the exact numbers as of this morning.

  There were fish retained on Ragged Hr. river the weekend.

  We can expect the "big" run of fish very soon. Gander Bay waters are swarming with salmon..lets hope that the poachers nets don't interfare.
