Talking to anglers, guides and our staff, there are lots of fish pretty much everywhere. fishing is good most days and not so good on other days, but thats fishing!. There are still loads of anglers and I'm sure there are more to come.
I heard of 2 BIG fish released on the upper stem of the river this week, one was about 12-14 lbs, and the other was in the 20lb range.
Water levels went up this week but judging by this morning, it seems to be holding it's own. Water temps are good for this time of the year, however the tributaries are warmer.
No word yet on whether DFo will close the tributaries due to that. I will advise if they do.
